Occupational Health, Safety And Welfare

Whitham Media Australia has it’s own OHS&W plan, documented as required by the Occupational Health, Safety & Welfare Act 1986

Over and above our company’s own policy, Whitham Media Australia’s camera crew undertake on-site Inductions where required by clients.

For example, our crews have undertaken on and off site OHS&W inductions for a range of industries including:

  • Oil & Gas exploration (on and offshore Australia)
  • Electricity distribution, generation and transmission
  • Mining
  • Construction
  • Health
  • Manufacturing
  • Hospitality

Our company has also produced a number of OHS&W induction videos and CD-ROMs for these industries.

We are constantly reviewing our OHS&W plan as a result of the knowledge gained from these industry sectors.

Environmental Values

Our work in video production and training programs takes us into some of Australia’s remotest and most environmentally sensitive regions.

Our crews are all highly aware of environmental issues and we are also in the process of instituting our own Internal EMS (Environmental Management System), to train crews on environmental expectations when working in sensitive areas.

Our crews have also undertaken various environment inductions at industrial and mining sites on and offshore Australia.

Quality Assurance Systems

Whitham Media Australia has implemented its own comprehensive internal Quality Management Systems

Whitham Media Australia has strict step-by-step tracking methodology at every stage of the production process.

Every stage of production is benchmarked against strict quality standards, whilst at the same time ensuring that deadlines are adhered to.

Whitham Media Australia adopts a “whole of business” approach to projects to ensure that all personnel and contractors are kept continuously apprised.

Our staff are in constant communication with our client to ensure that all expectations are being satisfied.

It is Whitham Media Australia’s policy to have express approval in writing from the client at every stage of the production process prior to continuing to the next stage.

Express written client approval is required at the following stages once the project concept and costing have been accepted:
